Butt Joint N1

A Butt Joint is created by placing the ends of a belt together and welding them using a backstrap/top strap. This is done like this as it creates a very smooth surface allowing products to run across with little to no interference. A joint like this will require a high temperature iron or light weight press to seal as the material used to join the belt needs melting together.
